Long Covid is back in the news with reports of nurses and doctors having higher percentages of long covid. This may be because Doctors and Nurses are among the most Covid Vaccinated group which we know cause, long covid symptoms. However I have seen many Long Covid patients even among the unvaccinated. Over the last few years, I’ve seen many people recover from COVID-19, only to continue struggling with lingering symptoms for weeks, months, and in some cases, even years. Some of the most common symptoms to look out for include: - Ongoing fatigue and weakness
- Brain fog and memory problems
- Shortness of breath or lingering cough
- Chest pain or palpitations
- Muscle and joint pain
- Sleep disturbances
- Anxiety or low mood
These symptoms may seem vague, but together they can disrupt daily life and affect your ability to work, rest, and live fully. Studies now show that Long COVID can have an impact on the brain and nervous system, in some cases comparable to conditions like stroke or Parkinson’s disease. But here’s the good news: there is hope. Many patients are finding relief by focusing on: - Reducing inflammation through nutrition, natural supplements, and lifestyle changes
- Strengthening the immune system with Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Zinc, and Elderberry
- Detoxifying the body from lingering viral particles and toxins that stress the system
- Supporting rest and recovery with sleep hygiene, stress management, and gentle exercise
If you are struggling with lingering symptoms, don’t ignore them. There are steps you can take to support healing and give your body what it needs to recover. Remember—God has equipped your body with amazing resilience. With the right support, you can restore balance and move toward wholeness again. |
